Mis siis kulutavad iGO softi juures enim mälumahtu ja koormavad seadet. Juhul, kui omad väikese mälumahuga vanemat PNA seadet, siis nende punktide järgminime võib aidata seadmel paremini tööle hakata, võib ka mitte.

1. Mitte installida ja kasutada DEM faile. Need on maastiku ja reljeefi failid, mida kuvatakse navigeerimisel taustaks. Neist on vähe kasu, aga kulutavad palju mälu.

Ilma .dem failideta oli pilt väga igav. Huvitav, kas koormatusele mõjub paremini kogu euroopa dem või eraldi ida- ja lääneeuroopa (kogumaht tuleb sama)? Või pole seal vahet?

Ühest foorumist hakkas silma Out of Memory probleemi lahendamise selline käik:

1. Unzip 'data.zip' into files
2. Start special version of iGO.exe (iGOfix.exe)
3. Post message "Does this solution works or not"

Technical Information
If free memory is not enough, the primo trys to increase its quantity by moving "RAM <-> Storage value" (Do you remember that feature at Windows Mobile 2003?) by calling coredll.dll::SetSystemMemoryDivision. The problem is follows -
this function is not works at WM 5.0 and higher
and this unexpected situation raises "Fatal Error".

In attached version this function is renamed (into UnkSystemMemoryDivision), and primo can not find it and ignores memory division, but memory are still not enough for data.zip, so If you not unzip data you will face "no memory" or "no skin" standard error.
